🕰️ 19th-century Singer sewing machine converted into a decorative lamp with autumnal stained glass
Rosarito Antiques presents a transformed jewel: elegance, history and light.
Step back into the heart of the 19th century with this majestic Singer sewing machine, discovered in France and now reimagined as a striking vintage lamp. It retains its original structure: a solid cast iron base with the embossed "SINGER" emblem, and an oak frame with four side drawers that evoke the artisanal refinement of yesteryear.
🪶 What makes it unique is its metamorphosis: atop the cabinet rests a lamp made of authentic stained glass, with leaves in autumnal hues—amber, moss green, deep orange—that cast a warm and nostalgic light. Each stained glass panel has been carefully assembled, forming a mosaic of nature and memory.
🔧 Although the machine no longer has its belt and is not operational, its decorative presence is powerful. It is a testament to the engineering of the past, ideal for collectors, interior designers, or history buffs looking for a piece with soul.
📐 Dimensions:
- Width: 121 cm
- Total height (including lamp): 143 cm
- Depth: 44 cm
🎩 This piece doesn't just beautify: it tells stories. At Rosarito Antiques, we believe that every object should move you, and this transformed Singer achieves that with dignity and poetry.
